Principal’s Message
It is with great enthusiasm and humility that I write this message as the proud principal of Liberty Memorial Middle School. It is an honor to lead a school that has culture of excellence which was developed through the hard work and dedication of teachers and staff.
I am proud to say that I am a product of LFCISD, having attended Villarreal Elementary, Los Fresnos Jr. High, and graduating from Los Fresnos High School. I have been in education for over twenty years starting with my first job for a neighboring district working in the maintenance department. I then went on to teach at the high school level for thirteen years, after which time I returned home to Los Fresnos as the assistant principal at my alma mater Los Fresnos High School. I then was selected to join Los Fresnos United when the tenth grade was moved to that campus, and I served as the assistant principal for six years.
As we look forward to an amazing 2023-2024 school year, we do so with the vision and mission that the community of Los Fresnos shares. We aim to foster tenacity, innovation, and high achievement to prepare our students to embrace the opportunities of tomorrow. Our mission is to provide a quality educational experience that results in the development of socially responsible life-long learners.
Let’s have an amazing school year as we all embrace the struggle to achieve excellence. GO PATRIOTS!
Mr. Bernardo Paredes, School Principal
